Question: Can blood donation to the Red Cross be used as a tax deduction?

I donate blood several times a year. It seems to me that my blood is worth more than a financial donation because it saves people’s lives. I don’t think you can use it as a tax deduction, but I wanted to make sure.

Answer: No, as of now it is not considered a tax write off. However, there are others who agree that it should be, check out the link.
