Question: Pregnant in FL. No health insurance. What do I do?
I am 3 weeks pregnant, I’ve not been to doctor yet. I don’t have insurance, I believe I make too much for Medicaid. What do I do? Are there other programs out there? I saw where United Healthcare and others offer plans but after their high deductible and monthly payment fees, seems really high. Will I be considered having a “pre-existing condition?” Maybe I should apply for disability? Have it in Canada? I have no idea. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!!!
I have a job, they don’t offer insurance (like most companies are doing now in the states) Also, I’m 35, this is my first, I’m not doing an abortion. There are some rude people here. My husband, doesn’t have insurance either. This is why I posed the question to apparently some pretty insensitive people. Thanks for your insight.Answer: I dont live in Florida but I believe you should apply for gov’t help. Why? Gov’t offers prenatal help to pregnant women at no cost and it’s not welfare. It is a temp emergancy help for the health of citizens in need. Try it, it worked out for me and it don’t interfer with any other future policies you may have in the future. The women’s health assistance program actually lasts through the whole preganacy and months after for your nutrition during and after birth. I hope I was helpful
