Question: tax deduction for payments on your health insurance deductible?
today at my OBGYN appoinment they told me to keep my receipts because i can get a tax deduction if they are higher than 7% of my income. is that just my income or mine and my husbands? i am going to pay around $2500 for having a baby, and my salary is $34,000. thanks!!!!
Answer: Just your income if you’re married filing singly. Both incomes if you file jointly.
