Question: need courses for tax deduction purposes only?
i saved around $1500 on my taxes with one year full time correspondence education course in 2006, but now i want to do some other course which will give me same kind of Tax Deductions for my income tax, please suggest some inexpensive online or correspondence courses….
Answer: Paying money out just so you can get a tax credit doesn’t make a lot of sense, since you’ll pay out more than you get back.
You say you saved around $1500 taking the courses last year. If you didn’t pay out more than that for the course, you had to do something wrong on your tax return, so be ready when the tax man comes around to collect some of it back.
