Question: HELP WITH HEALTH INSURANCE! What does it mean that theres a $2,900 annual deductible?
what happens when i visit my doctor for the first time after getting the insurace? how much and what would I pay?

Answer: A 2900 hundred dollar deductible implies that you are responsible for the first 2900 dollars of whatever medical bills you rack up. So unless you have something like a 20 dollar co-pay, you will wind up paying the entire doctor bill. If you ask in advance what it’s going to cost and can’t pay it all, they will usually work something out with you. But ya gotta pay!
