Question: I need my windshield replaced?
but I have a $500.00 deductible. Are there any glass replacement companies that can work it so I don’t have to pay anything?
Answer: You would need a lower deductible comprehensive policy, or separate glass coverage.
Check the price of a used window from a wrecker. I once bought one for $75, and it cost me another $75 for professional installation.
These people talking prices have to realize some windows are more expensive than others. One car I had, the windshield was $850, the rear window, an odd shape, was close to $1,000, and neither price included labour. Thank goodness I never had to replace either of them.
