Question: Can I take a tax deduction for my computer? I’m a graphic designer and use it at home sometimes for work.?
I work at a large business (on site) and do use my Apple computer at home occasionally (20% of time) for work my employer requests. I’m using TurboTax and now it’s asking me the square footage of my home/home office. I don’t want to get audited… HELP!!!
Answer: No, using it at home sometimes for work doesn’t qualify it as a deduction.
