Question: What would be the best deductible for me to pick? A high one or low?
The insurance is for my son and I. We go to the doctor pretty often. Also another question does the monthly premiums and the copay pay off the deductible?
Answer: Pick a large deductible if you do not go to the doctor much or do not plan on having surgery any time soon. The co-pay must be paid any time services are billed to your insurance company. Deductible must be met before insurance company will start paying for services. Monthly premiums do not count against anything. They are simply the price you pay for having insurance.
